A guide to a Hot Air Balloon Flight in Marrakech :

Pre-flight :

The Activity typically starts early in the Morning, at 5 AM, as the objective is to witness the beautiful Sunrise. For the Transfer from your Accommodation to the Flight Site (30 km from the city center), your driver with a4x4 vehicle will be waiting at the Pickup point which is fixed before, it’s either straight from the Hotel or the nearest spot to the Riad you booked as Cars can’t enter the narrow alleys of the Medina,

When you arrive, you’re welcomed with a hot Moroccan mint tea, then you'll meet a Professional pilot and the rest of your group. Safety instructions and a brief orientation are provided before the flight.

Flight Over the Beautiful Landscape :

Before the flight, you can closely watch the preparation of the majestic big balloons as you wait for the departure.

After getting in the Basket with the other people of the group, your adventure starts Your flight will last approximately one hour, you’ll feel that your heart’s racing from excitment of being high up in the air floating in the sky and surrounded by the other balloons with the beautiful and mesmerizing view of the spectacular sunrise and the High Atlas Mountains. Landing :

As your hot air balloon adventure comes to an end, if the Wind was stong the balloon will move far away from the main site, so the drivers will come o get you back to the Base Camp once you'll land down gently in the Moroccan wilderness.
