The circuit of the imperial cities is a circuit with a cultural content, it develops all the historical part of Morocco and its heritage, the customs of its citizens, the architecture of its medinas... riches inherited from the succession of different civilizations by Morocco. Throughout this circuit we invite you to explore the oldest cities of Morocco, from Marrakech to Fez and from Casablanca to Rabat and Meknes, century-old cities that have built Morocco today.
Day 1:
Transfer from Marrakech airport to the hotel in Marrakech, Check-in and free time.
Day 2:
This first day we reserve it for Marrakech visit, you start the day by visiting the important monuments of Marrakech city such as the Koutoubia Mosque (from the outside), the Saadian tombs and the Bahia Palace. After lunch, you set off to explore the alleys of the medina and its residential districts where the essential places that make up each old district, such as the hammam, the oven, the fountain...
Return to the hotel at the end of the afternoon.
Day 3 - 245 km:
This morning and after breakfast, you take the bus to the economic capital of Morocco and its most populous city with more than 5 million inhabitants. Casablanca is located 245 km northwest of Marrakech by motorway.
Lunch in Casablanca, then you start in the afternoon the visit of Casablanca by visiting the historic Habbous district, then the Notre Dame de Lourde church which represents an architectural emblem for Catholic parishes but also for the charm and cultural diversity that gives to this great city.
After visiting this church, you will take a panoramic tour of the white city, passing through the Arab League garden, United Nations Square, Boulevard d'Anfa known as the Jewish quarter of the city, then the Hassan 2 mosque and the corniche. Ain Diab where you can have a cocktail in one of its terraces in front of the ocean while contemplating the sunset.
Transfer to the hotel.
Day 4 - 300 km:
Breakfast at the hotel then departure to the Rabat city, located 90 km by motorway north of Casablanca. Rabat is the administrative capital of the kingdom and is one of Morocco imperial cities with a history of more than 850 years, founded since the Almohad dynasty in 1150. Arriving in Rabat you start the city visit with a panoramic bus tour, then you head towards the Mechoir (Royal passage) where the Royal Palace, then you visit the Hassan Tower, the twin sister of the Koutoubia in Marrakech and the Geralda in Seville which was not completed following the death of Sultan Yacoub Al Mansour. You end the morning visit at the Mohamed 5 mausoleum located in the same space as the Hassan Tower.
The visit of the Kasbah des Oudayas is scheduled after lunch then you take the road to the Fez city located east of Rabat 210 km by motorway.
Transfer to the hotel.
Day 5:
This day is reserved completely for the visit of Fez, after breakfast at the hotel you will discover its medina founded since the 8th century, it is declared as an international heritage by UNESCO. During your immersion in the medina and its narrow streets, you will visit its neighborhoods, monuments and places of interest such as tanneries, madrasas and craft workshops...
At the end of the day, you take a panoramic bus tour that you finish on a hill overlooking the city from where you will have a beautiful view of the medina.
Lunch is scheduled in the middle of the visit.
Day 6 - 550 km:
Breakfast at the hotel and departure from Fez to Marrakech, a 550km journey south in parallel with the High Atlas chain filled with several panoramic landscapes.
During this way, you make several stops, the first will be in Ifran, called the small Swiss town of Morocco that you will find all white in winter, then you make a second stop in Beni Mellal for lunch and where you visit his Kasbah. The third stop will be at the Ouzoud Waterfalls, the highest waterfalls in North Africa.
Road to Marrakech, estimated arrival around 19h in the evening.
Day 7:
Breakfast at the hotel and free time before transfer to the airport.
