A 2-day shared tour of the Zagora Desert from Marrakech, a magnificent itinerary for discovering Morocco's natural riches, passing through the High Atlas Mountains and arriving in Zagora to experience your stay in a magical desert atmosphere.
Day 1 - Marrakech - Zagora 355 km :
In the morning, you'll set off from Marrakech towards the town of Zagora, around 8 hours away, crossing the High Atlas Mountains and the Tzi N'Tichka pass, one of the highest peaks in the majestic range at 2,260m. After a stop to admire the scenery, you continue on to visit the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
You'll have lunch in the village of Ait Ben Haddou, then you'll continue on the road towards the Tizi Desert. As soon as you arrive at a track, you'll change buses for camels to bring you back to the bivouac and settle into your tent. Free time to rest or explore the desert landscape. Dinner will be served under the stars while your nomad hosts entertain you around a campfire to the rhythm of their tamtam drums.
Day 2 - Zagora - Marrakech 355 km :
Your departure day will start early in the morning with the discovery of the magic of sunrise in the middle of the desert, and then you'll enjoy breakfast before taking the camels to continue the road to Marrakech, arriving around 6pm.
This tour is offered with drivers who speak different languages (French, Spanish or English). You can choose the language you prefer when you confirm your booking. To enhance the content of this tour, a guide is strongly recommended, who will give you more explanations and information, and take you to the various sites you'll be visiting, except for the film studio, where visits are made with a studio guide for a tip.
