Day 1 - Marrakech - Zagora 355 km :
Morning departure for the town of Zagora, around 8 hours' drive from Marrakech, crossing the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi N'Tichka pass, considered one of the highest peaks in this majestic mountain range at 2,260m. You'll make a stop at this pass to admire the Atlas landscapes, then continue on to visit the Kasbah Ait Ben-Haddou, declared an international heritage site by UNESCO.
Free time for lunch in the village of Ait Ben-Haddou, then on to the bivouac in the Désert de Tizi. At the end of the asphalt road, you replace the bus with camels to reach the bivouac. Settle into your private tent and enjoy some free time to explore the surrounding desert landscape. Dinner will be served under the stars while your nomad hosts entertain you around a campfire to the rhythm of their tamtam drums.
Day 2 - Zagora - Marrakech 355 km :
Wake up early to experience the magic of sunrise in the desert (optional). Then enjoy breakfast before climbing back into the saddle of your camel for the return journey to the main road.
Here, your minibus will be waiting to take you back to Marrakech, where you'll arrive around 6 pm.
