The 24th UNWTO General Assembly in 2021 in Marrakech
The Kingdom of Morocco was elected to host in Marrakech in 2021, the 24th Session of the General Assembly of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO). The election took place during the 23rd Session of the said Assembly, which was held from September 09 to 13, 2019 in Saint Petersburg (Russian Federation).
Three candidates were in the running to host the General Assembly of the said Organization, namely Morocco, Kenya and the Philippines.
