A Day trip to the High Atlas from Marrakech in a 4x4 vehicle. Immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty of the High Atlas Mountains on this unforgettable excursion, full of adventure and cultural immersion.

Program:

On this excursion to the High Atlas Mountains, you'll discover the region, its customs and traditions, the villages and a house in the interior, where you'll be in direct contact with the Berber inhabitants. A journey through time and a 5-hour expedition in 4x4 off-road vehicles, including 2 hours on tracks in the High Atlas, you'll cross rivers, green valleys (like Asni Valley) and authentic villages. You'll have the chance to discover up close the simplicity of Berber life and the charm of the Atlas.

Among the stops you'll make on this expedition: A stop in a modern village at the foot of the Atlas Mountains, where you'll visit an argan oil cooperative. A stop in an authentic Berber village in the heart of the Atlas Mountains, with a stroll through the village. A stop at a Berber house, where you'll be treated to a mint tea ceremony. The expedition ends at Lake Lalla Takerkoust, with lunch and free time.

Only “Toyota Prado TX” vehicles can do the tracks programmed in this excursion, in case of choosing another vehicle all the circuit will be done on tarred road.

This tour is offered with drivers who speak different languages (French, Spanish or English). You can choose the language you prefer when you confirm your booking. To reinforce the tour program, a tour guide is strongly recommended, who will give you more explanations and information about the Berber world, customs, traditions, way of life and architecture.

Tea ceremony

During the excursion in the Atlas, we propose you a stop in a Berber family house that will welcome you and make you discover his house from the inside and his lifestyle, he will make you attend a ceremony berber tea.

Lunch

This expedition ends in Lake Lalla Takerkoust where we propose lunch in a terrace with a beautiful view of the lake and the High Atlas mountains. The proposed menu is: Large mixed salad + meat kebabs + vegetable tagine + fruit (orange / banana), drinks are not included.

Continue to the Agafay

If the vehicle chosen is Toyota Land Cruiser 4x4, we suggest that you make an extension of the expedition in the Agafay desert where you will make a circuit in its tracks and discover the beauty of its landscapes.

Dromedary ride

During your circuit in the Agafay desert, you can make a dromedary ride of 30 min to live the nomadic experience in the middle of the desert!

Quad

This option allows you make a 2-hour quad bike circuit in the Agafay desert. After lunch you take the quads in front of the restaurant and you head to the Agafay desert to start this circuit which will take you through beautiful desert landscapes with the possibility of making panoramic stops. An experience full of adrenaline!

Please select the number of quads you want, children under 16 cannot drive quad bikes but can ride as much as a passenger on a two-seater quad bike.

Quad passenger

For people who want to share a quad for two or for children who can not drive a quad and want to ride behind adults, this option allows you to provide you with a two-seater quad with the insurance of the second person included. Please select this option and enter the number of quads that you want to share.

Buggy

This option allows you make a 2-hour buggy circuit in the Agafay desert. After lunch you take the buggys in front of the restaurant and you head to the Agafay desert to start this circuit which will take you through beautiful desert landscapes with the possibility of making panoramic stops. An experience full of adrenaline!
