Located 45 km from Marrakech at the foot of the High Atlas Mountains, Ourika is a verdant valley known for its splendid mountain scenery and friendly Berber population.
An excursion to the Ourika Valley will take you to discover these landscapes as well as the Berber culture, which is known for its simplicity and love of its land and customs.
You'll be welcomed into a Berber home to discover it from the inside, and chat with the Berber family who live there about their traditions and customs over a simple, authentic Berber breakfast. A demonstration of how to bake Berber bread and prepare mint tea is also scheduled.
En route to the Ourika valley, we'll stop off at a pottery workshop, where you'll have the chance to discover this traditional craft, still done by hand by master artisans who refuse to abandon this heritage. We'll also open the door to the only saffron farm in the Marrakech region.
Return to Marrakech at 5pm.
