Toubkal, the highest peak in the Atlas mountain range and in North Africa with a height of 4,167 m. Located not far from Marrakech, an hour's drive to the village of Imlil where you leave the bus and start the adventure. We invite you to live an unprecedented experience, to challenge your abilities and reach the summit of Toubkal in less than 36 hours...
Day 1:
After leaving Marrakech and once you arrive at the Imlil village, you meet your guide who will give you a short briefing on the program and the route around a mint tea, then you start your hike. You take the path that leads to the Toubkal refuge, an essential step in this circuit, the refuge is a 6-hour walk at an average pace through the village of Armed and Chamharouche. In the Armedvillage, you stop for a Berber breakfast before following your path, lunch will be a picnic (sandwiches) that the guide will prepare for you during a break in the middle of the hike and at middle of the high Atlas Mountains. When you arrive at the refuge you will have free time to prepare for the big day which begins very early in the morning... Overnight in dormitory beds, dinner and breakfast are included with the overnight stay.
Day 2:
Very early in the morning and before dawn, you leave for Toubkal, you will have to walk 4 hours at medium pace to the top. After free time in the summit to contemplate the view and relax, you return to the refuge where lunch is provided, then you collect your equipment and you continue to the Imlil village where transport will be at your wait to return to Marrakech.
The descent is 2 hours from the summit to the refuge, then 4 hours from the refuge to the Imlil village.

For people who want to enjoy this hike and don't have the ability to do it entirely on foot, we suggest that you provide one or more mules that will accompany you along the circuit, they will be at your disposal to carry you or carry your things. Mules are proposed just for the journey between the Imlil village to the refuge and they cannot make the ascent.
For your safety, if the guide detects the inability of a member of the group to make the ascent or of the entire group, our guide has the right to not allow these people to accompany the group to the summit, they will stay in the refuge and will await the return of the whole group. In this case no refund will be possible.
