In order to discover the different souks of the medina and know the different fabrications of Moroccan craftsmanship, we take you between the small alleys from the tanneries district to the famous souk "Semarine" considered as a great exhibition of artisanal production in Marrakech.
You browse the main souks of the medina such as the leather souk, the slippers artisanal, the iron, the carpets... In each souk you will make a stop in a craft workshop to discover the nature of the work done in each trade, present the Maalems (master craftsmen), see closely the different stages of production and know the old tools still used in each trade. We explain the history of some existing symbols in handicrafts and what they represent in the local culture. In some workshops, you can participate in the manufacturing process under the assistance of Maalem.
The duration of this visit is 4 hours including one hour that we leave to our clients to be able to shop freely under the assistance of our guide.
