This hike is proposed for people looking for thrills and challenges of nature and their abilities while enjoying beautiful desert landscapes that offer the Chegaga Desert. The latter is known for its large dunes considered the largest in the region and the least frequented by tourists, they reach 40 km in length and 300 m in height...

Day 1 - 360 km:
This day is dedicated only to the road to Zagora city, considered the gateway to the Sahara, this city is located south-east of Marrakech 350 km through the High Atlas mountains where you make a stop in the pass of Tizi N'Tichka, it is one of the highest peaks of the prestigious Atlas range. You then continue to the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, declared as an international heritage of humanity by UNESCO, once there, you go on a visit with your guide and a local guide who will give you historical information about this place.
Lunch is planned at Ait Ben Haddou then you continue towards Zagora which you will reach towards the end of the day. During this journey, other scenic stops are planned.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2:
This morning and after breakfast, you take the road to the Erg Lihoudi desert, the starting point of the hike, located an hour and a half drive from Zagora.
Once you arrive at Erg Lihoudi at the edge of the sand dunes, you leave the car and you prepare the camels to start a 5 hour hike between the palm trees and the sand dunes towards the dunes of Mozmo, it is your first step towards the majestic dunes of Chegaga. You reach Mozmo by the end of afternoon, then begin setting up your trek tents where you spend the night under the stars.
Lunch will be picnic in the middle of the road and dinner will be prepared by our staff on site.

Day 3:
Breakfast in the camp, then departure towards Chegaga crossing Oued Naam (the valley of the ostriches) and the Hamada stone desert, a 6 hour walk. Picnic lunch in the middle of the road.
When you arrive in Chegaga, you enjoy a mint tea and you settle in your tents in the nomadic bivouac, this bivouac has a common sanitary space (showers and bathrooms - there are luxurious bivouacs with a private sanitary space for each tent, see options).
After watching the sunset, we light a large campfire where we serve dinner alongside, then the evening continues with Sahrawi songs and dances.

Day 4 - 240 km:
Departure from the bivouac by 4x4 towards the oasis of Agdz, the latter is located 4 hours by road from the Chegaga desert, including one hour on the track.
In Agdz, you have lunch with the locals, then you go for a 2-hour hike in its palm grove accompanied by a villager who takes you between the palm trees of the Oasis and makes you discover the life of the Berbers of this Atlas region. He will talk to you about their ways of life, their customs and the nature of the work that is done in the palm grove by giving a demonstration...
Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Agdz.

Day 5 - 270 km:
Today, you take the road back to Marrakech making a stop in Ouarzazate city where lunch is scheduled after visiting the Ouarzazate film studios, then continue to Marrakech.
